About

Welcome to Noel360.com. My name is Noel Chingcuangco, a computer and IT technician with a penchant for SEO and web publishing, and this is my blog.

I have been in the computer and IT field for the past 14 years, working for companies such as Helix Software, PGP, and Network Associates (McAfee). I’ve also done IT consulting work for companies such as Citigroup and Morgan Stanley.

I may blog on personal matters once in a while but mostly, this blog will be about Computers, SEO, Web Publishing, and Technology in general.

I have been dabbling in web publishing since 1997. This particular hobby of mine started after picking up a book on HTML. The rest as they say is history.

Since then, I’ve created websites for friends, family, and other small businesses.

In 2006, as I was looking for shops that would accept my paypal money (from an old iPod I sold on eBay), I realized there were no good places out there for this type of information. Paypal had its own directory but it was out of date and riddled with links to eBay stores. It is then that I  decided to create my own and called it PaypalDirectory.com.

The name of the website went into a few reincarnations before finally settling down on the name Shop Without Credit Cards. I decided to change the theme of the website from a Paypal Directory to a directory of shops that offers alternatives to credit card payments.

As I hammered away on life, got married in 07 and had a daughter in 09 – My little side project began to take on a life of its own.

Working on my website in my spare time, Shop Without Credit Cards evolved from a short list of my favorite Paypal Shops to a directory of over 500 merchants that accept Paypal, eBillme, or Amazon Payments.

Today, Shop Without Credit Cards gets over 3,000 unique hits a month and still growing. More importantly, this directory had taught me a lot about natural SEO and marketing.

In February of 2010, I decided to try my hands on community websites and launched Tambayan USA along with another directory, Mabuhay Directory.

Shortly after, I decided to create this blog, noel360 to put a face behind my websites. I may blog on personal matters once in a while but mostly, this blog will be about Computers, SEO, Web Publishing, and Technology in general. As such, is probably best for individuals with similar hobbies.

I hope that you’ll like my blog and continue to visit in the future. Feel free to comment on any of my post, contact me, or ask questions.

Thanks again for stopping by.
